wow, dude, you've infused this with a ton of personality. You're doing some amazing work here. I'd be interested to see a photo of the canvas that gives and idea of the real world size.

Thanks Ben! I don't have this one in the studio anymore. It was 16x20 oil on board. I've been doing a few pieces that way lately since I start with a smooth surface and can really play with the textures.

The painting of Nick was so well received and many found your talents sureal. Some felt the portrait captured Nick more than the Photo you painted this from. Mrs. Guyer, (Nick's paternal grandmother) believed the hands were Nick. My mother felt so good and will write you soon. All your business cards were gone within minutes. I had also made cards with an explanation of Tanabata and your name on the front of the card. You will never know how deeply your artworked moved people. Many cried, others came close to study the brush strokes. Thank you for passionately creating the most amazing portrait. We are very appreciative and I beleive you will be getting contacts from this occasion.

Thank you, Cecilia. This is very good to hear. I'm glad that everything went so well and that I could be a part of it. :)
