Catching Up

Alright!  To catch up on the last few months.  I really should have been blogging all this time, but I started a habit of blocking most things out to focus on work.

I reproduced a larger more complete painting of the young woman with the sword, titled "Resolve" (36" x 28" oil on canvas).  I think it turned out pretty good.  My dog was growling and sniffing it cautiously, so that has to count for something.

Also if you're in need of a larger easel, I highly recommend the Best Classic Santa Fe II (pictured above).  It's one of the most excellent purchases I've made.

There's more to come… stay tuned.

Wow you did a beautiful job! Makes me want to get out the paints! I love all the detail work you put into it. It's like an old-school Masters painting :)

Fantastic, Anthony. I have to say I'm amazed. I don't have the chops to enlarge something like this. The work on the hands is especially impressive.

Dear Anthony,

Initially, my niece sent me your website because she was delighted to see your amazing and beautiful illustrations and so pleased that you are a Catholic artist with an obvious God-given talent! She found the link on St. Austin review. I couldn't agree with her more!
Your gift is amazing. Then today when she and I talked, she mentioned you again in regards to my children's stories. She has a two year old and is bound and determined that her children be able to see my stories in print some day. I am a Catholic author of novels and children's stories as well as Christian music. My website is www.willyoubemyvoice.com
and I would be in Heaven to have you team up with one of my stories with your gorgeous and creative illustrations!

Feel free to contact me if you are interested. :)
Sincerely,
Elizabeth Schmeidler
