Illustration Friday: Wise

This watercolor/graphite drawing is of Slue-foot Sue riding Widow-maker from the story of Pecos Bill.

Well this was just before or just after they were wed, yes? Corsets and bustles were befitting at the time. Fabulous details, and I think you had a realistic amount of loft from that last buck. ;)
