My neighbor used to keep a large barrel suspended in the water off the edge of his pier. The barrel, like the one in the picture, had holes in it's side and was perfect for keeping live fish. (bait, or a fresh catch) It just so happened that his ingenuity would come to serve the river otters, who would always slip in and steal the fish. I can remember many times coming across them as they rolled in the barrel, chasing their meal.

B-u-tious! Will make a great web first impression!
Oh Anthony, this may be my new favorite illustration of yours! It's perfect! I love the crispness in the foreground and the lovely layers of soft background. The little girl is of course adorable just like all your people, and the animals, oh, I love them! You also did a magnificent job with the water and the reflections of the water onto the pier. Seriously, make this one into a postcard mailer and send it to every publisher you want to work for. I'm sure you'll get a bite!
So wonderful!! I LOVE the expressions on the otter's faces! As well as the squirrel and little girl...just fabulous!!!
I hope you are ready for the onslaught of work that comes your way when art buyers start finding you!!
