Fairy Sketch

I've seen several artists do this with a video and every time it has amazed me. So I hope you enjoy it... it's not as clear as I would have liked... (and thanks to my brother Alex who let me borrow his camera)

The rough layout took five minutes, and the preliminary drawing took about ten more (these are the stages you see in the video). The finished drawing took a little over an hour to complete and can be seen below.

I had this idea Friday night during a bad storm that was supposed to come Saturday. It seems the poor meteorologist can't get it right until last minute (that's what the cricket is thinking)

This is amazing Anthony. The finished piece is incredible. What's happening now? Do you have a contract or are you putting together sendouts?

Anthony, that was very cool :). I love to watch these. So, you are a lefty? I could never make one of these, unless anyone would like to watch me sit and stare, sip my tea, sketch a little.... sit stare, sip...
You are wonderful! amy

Hey everyone thanks for the comments

Right now Eric I'm working on the portfolio and website... I'm really fresh to the industry, I've followed it for some time now but just recently I joined the SCBWI... in a few weeks I'll be ready for the sendouts... I'm very excited! although I know it will be difficult

Hey Amy! I usually relax myself, that is the best way to create... I couldn't believe how nervous that buzzing camera made me... My brother helped me with a little small talk and I seemed to level out... thanks for the compliment!!!

Hey Joseph! thanks!... your drawings are great... I love the illustrations on the colored board!!! I've never really mastered that but love the effect

I wasn't sure where you were at. From your work, you could have been in the industry for years. If you need any help with anything, advice etc. Please ask!
